I interviewed for a Software Engineer-related role but the process felt average and leaned heavily toward management fit; the office logistics and resourcing conversation left me concerned.

Manager-focused interview — I was asked mostly about how I’d manage conflict and competing project demands rather than my technical abilities.
Questioning around expectations — I asked about office attendance twice a week and used available parking info as context; the response focused on public transit rather than practical capacity. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the takeaway was that the role’s constraints and resourcing expectations didn’t match what I could effectively deliver.
