I started with a recruiter call that led directly into an interview that felt moderate and very straightforward.

I didn’t run into tricky questions, and the recruiter and interviewer both seemed mainly interested in checking my general knowledge in the electrical side of the oil industry. The whole call felt smooth.

They were both clearly expert in their engineering fields, and the conversation reflected that depth. What stood out to me was how much they wanted me to understand the job scope I’d applied for, almost like they expected alignment from the start
