My interview process included a presentation and a team-building exercise, which at first made it feel a bit different from a typical technical screen.

The presentation was meant to show my technical ability, and most people apparently used their final-year project as the basis. I went in with a similar mindset, trying to present my work clearly rather than trying to overcomplicate it.

The team-building exercise felt pretty simple. The expectation was more about being involved and showing I could work well within a group than about dominating the discussion. I kept it measured and stayed engaged, and that seemed to be what they wanted to see.

The actual interview portion was okay—my impression was that I didn’t get thrown into anything
