Airbnb Software Engineer interview experience

The main thing I remember was the variety of core topics: binary tree traversal, BFS/DFS, queues and stacks, and sorting algorithms.

The difficulty wasn’t presented as obscure, but it required real fundamentals and clean reasoning. The interview felt like a test of whether the basics were solid.

I didn’t get an offer, but the process still made sense to me because the questions clearly matched established algorithm themes.
