Agoda Backend Engineer interview experience

It felt like a moderately difficult OA overall—challenging, but not chaotic—and I was able to solve most of what was given.

I remember the OA taking on a “try to cover everything” vibe, because the question set wasn’t just one type of problem. After solving all the problems in my run, I still didn’t move forward, which was honestly pretty frustrating. What stood out most was how close the work felt while still resulting in rejection; the assessment didn’t feel impossible, but the outcome made it clear they were looking for something more than just completing questions.
