My AECOM interview experience started with a recruiter conversation in Madrid.

I had a first hour-long interview with HR, and the questions felt typical for this type of screen. The tone was attentive and organized, and I got a clear sense that the team was tracking the process carefully.

After that, I moved into a more technical phase where we discussed my experience and what I could bring to the team. That stage felt more like a conversation about fit from a delivery perspective rather than a pure stress test, and it was still grounded in how my background translated into the work.

Overall, the experience was smooth and well supported, with strong follow-through
