In my interview, they went deep on my projects rather than skimming the surface.

I ended up being asked to design a user study to evaluate one of the projects, and the interviewer wanted an answer that was more fundamental than fancy or over-engineered.

The session lasted about 35 minutes, and the tone was surprisingly cooperative. The person running the interview stayed helpful and patient, and the questions stayed anchored in clearly defining what I’d test and how the study would connect back to the project.

Overall it felt like a structured research conversation with a practical edge—less about memorizing jargon and more about explaining a basic experimental plan
