My process began with a pretty straightforward data exercise.

It wasn’t framed like a trick—more like a way to see how I handled the basics of analysis. After submitting that, I got a phone call where the conversation split between questions about the exercise and my resume, and it lasted about half an hour.

A short while after that, I made it to a later-stage interview at a Washington DC office. It started with a one-hour quiz and then shifted into meeting multiple people in separate segments. Those interviewers were mostly friendly, and the questions connected back to my work and experience rather than feeling disconnected or overly theoretical.
