Acko General Insurance Software Engineer interview experience

During the time I was solving, the interviewer actually gave hints—small nudges that helped me break down the problem and find a path forward. That made it feel less like a pure test of memorization and more like the interviewer cared about how I approached decomposition.

The overall experience was positive because I could follow the problem into manageable pieces instead of getting stuck instantly. I finished feeling like the process had enough guidance that I could demonstrate my reasoning rather than just my raw ability to solve without support.
