ACI Worldwide Software Engineer interview experience

PunePosted Jul 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a telephonic technical interview that lasted about thirty minutes, and it was very focused on technical topics.

What made it difficult for me wasn’t just the depth of the questions, but the expectation that I had broad product knowledge to match how they evaluated answers.

The discussion made me feel like their interviews for software engineering roles were on par with higher seniority levels in other service companies, which raised the bar in a way I hadn’t fully anticipated.

I didn’t have an offer in this experience, but the main takeaway was that the interview style expected a wider understanding of the product domain than I was used to.
