Accruent Software Engineer interview experience

The whole thing felt designed to remove any ambiguity—people joked about using calculators if you were being “sneaky,” which added to the awkwardness.

Once the on-site retake was done, my remaining interviews were with managers and were entirely behavioral. There weren’t technical questions, and the experience felt genuinely easy. The overall expectation was basically that I should come across as someone who wanted the job.

I didn’t get an offer, but it left me feeling like the process was simple and more about attitude and behavioral alignment than technical performance.
