I found the overall interview experience good, but it left me with a clear message afterward: they expected a deep understanding of the specific technology area I was applying for.

The feedback I took from it was that for a backend-focused role, the bar was more about thorough concepts—like data structures and how they show up in day-to-day backend problem solving—rather than just having some surface familiarity.

I didn’t receive an offer. The reflection I carried was that the process rewarded depth and real mastery, and my preparation wasn’t convincing enough on the “core technology” level they were screening for.
