The recruiter screening came first, then I had a single 60-minute problem-solving and live coding session with two team members.

The structure was pretty specific: a short collaborative discussion for about 20 minutes, followed by a separate problem where I coded live for about 30 minutes.

The final 10 minutes were left for questions. That made it feel more like an interactive technical conversation than a one-way evaluation.

It was clearly a tougher format because it compressed teamwork, independent coding, and then back-and-forth into one session. By the end, I felt like the interview was aimed at how I think under time pressure, even though I didn’t end up receiving an offer.
