I went through the earliest part of the process with an online assessment that I had to complete in Python.

Once I finished it successfully, I felt relieved because it seemed like I cleared that hurdle.

But I didn’t proceed to the next round because the openings got closed. The recruiter told me they still planned to hire for a different team that was new, but only after they hired a tech lead, and I didn’t end up hearing back after that.

What made it frustrating was that the work I did to clear the initial assessment didn’t seem to connect to a stable pipeline. I was left waiting without a clear next step, and eventually nothing materialized from the process.
