This interview ended up being tough in a very consuming way.

I didn’t get the offer, and the main reason I felt that gap was the intensity of the questioning. The interviewer was new, and the whole conversation stretched to about two hours.

They asked a lot of questions and kept going even after I worked through several of them. I felt like I was solving problems in the moment, but the questioning kept expanding, which made it hard to ever feel fully “done” with any topic. By the end, I didn’t have the outcome I wanted. Looking back, I realized I was prepared to answer questions, but not for a marathon interview where you’re expected to keep pace
