My interview process was fully online, but it started later than the scheduled time because the HR person wasn’t available.

Eventually, an employee stepped in and ran the session instead, and that’s when I ran into the sharper part of the process.

The employee asked difficult questions, and the experience felt more challenging than I expected from the rescheduled start. There wasn’t a lot of cushioning or time to settle in; I had to respond on the spot.

I didn’t get an offer, and honestly the delayed start combined with the difficulty left me feeling a bit thrown off, more than I felt prepared in the moment.
