Welcome to your interview.
The question is on your right: Prioritize Across Competing Data Projects. Take a moment with it first.
Talk your thinking through with me if you like - when you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes). Discussion and graded submissions share your five interviewer interactions, so spend them well.
You’re working on multiple data engineering projects at the same time, and each one feels important to a different stakeholder. Some work is tied to business reporting, some to platform reliability, and some to delivery commitments already communicated to leadership. You need a clear way to decide what gets done first so the team stays focused and stakeholders understand the trade-offs.
How do you prioritize tasks when you’re working on multiple projects at once, especially when stakeholders have competing deadlines and priorities?
