Find Employee With Max Salary | Dataford Interview Questions

Zscaler’s People Analytics team needs to identify the employee or employees with the highest recorded salary and display their department. Write a PostgreSQL query using the employees and departments tables.

Requirements

Return every employee whose salary equals the maximum non-NULL salary in employees, including ties.
Display the employee name, salary, and department name.
Preserve employees whose department assignment is missing or unmatched, and sort the final result by employee name.
