Your question is Describe Your Relevant Projects. Take a moment with it on the right.
Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).
Describe projects you've worked on.
Please choose one project that best demonstrates your contribution as a data engineer, rather than listing several projects at a high level. Explain the project's purpose, your specific responsibilities, the technical and organizational challenges you encountered, how you prioritized work and influenced collaborators, and the outcome. If relevant, discuss technologies such as Apache Spark, Delta Lake, or Databricks Workflows, but focus on the decisions you made and the ownership you demonstrated. Interviewers are assessing whether you can distinguish your individual impact from the team's work, operate effectively when requirements are incomplete, and deliver reliable data products. A strong response should follow STAR: establish the stakes and your role, describe concrete actions and trade-offs, quantify the result, and explain what you learned or would change in a future project.
