Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).
Describe a time when you had to resolve a bug or problem under a tight timeline.
Asked in the Hiring Manager Screen stage.
I want to understand how you handle urgency without losing control of the situation. This includes how you triage, communicate tradeoffs, and decide what to fix first when time is limited.
A strong answer uses a specific example, explains the stakes, and shows how you isolated the issue, coordinated with others, and delivered a safe fix. I am listening for clear ownership, calm execution, and a result you can quantify or at least describe concretely.
