My recruiter and early stages felt messy and stretched out. The overall process was long, with what sounded like a recruiter screen, a hiring manager screen, then a technical screen, followed by a stack of Zoom interviews—around four to five more calls. It dragged, and the recruiter in the first stage felt scrambled and not ready, which made the scheduling and momentum feel chaotic.
The contrast was that I also had a process that sounded similarly multi-round, but with a much better atmosphere once things got going. In that one, I was told there were three rounds plus an optional HR step, and the questions were described to me as really good. The overall environment felt like a place people could grow, and the interviewers seemed genuinely engaged. Even with both journeys being multi-stage, the difference in how prepared the recruiter felt made the whole experience either draining or surprisingly healthy.

Average Positive Bengaluru
I applied and shortly after got a call from HR to schedule a virtual interview. My first round was a straightforward DSA-style coding question on a medium difficulty level. The whole thing felt focused and linear—no extra rabbit holes, just one problem and a conversation around it.
A bit later I went through a very similar flow where the interview felt like a classic software engineering screen. It was a LeetCode-style medium question (linked list), and the environment was laid-back. The process seemed to move smoothly from application review to the actual interview, and I didn’t get any surprises beyond the expected style of questions. Overall it was the kind of interview where having prior experience with past formats helped me feel comfortable, even if I wasn’t necessarily thrilled by the amount of “coding-only” focus.

Technical Coding Rounds
Candidates can expect a strong focus on data structures and algorithms (DSA) during technical interviews, often involving LeetCode-style questions that assess both correctness and reasoning. The difficulty varies, with some rounds being described as medium to hard, and time pressure is often a factor.

Behavioral & Cultural Fit
Behavioral interviews are present but tend to be lighter in focus compared to technical rounds, often emphasizing past experiences and cultural alignment. Interviewers generally aim to understand how candidates think and approach problems rather than just assessing technical skills.
