After a recruiter-style intro, I moved into technical rounds where the focus was really on how deep I was in my day-to-day toolset and how confidently I could explain my decisions. One technical screen leaned on fundamentals and practical reasoning, including questions around OOP/design patterns, and I remember being asked to recognize a design pattern and then modify a model so it worked correctly.
Later, I had a client-facing technical conversation and it felt a bit messy—there were overlaps with questions from earlier rounds, which made it harder to read what they were truly assessing. There was still a problem-solving component (I was asked to work through a 2D-matrix type scenario), and the overall difficulty felt average rather than brutal. I also got a human/HR discussion that emphasized communication and how I worked with others.

Average Positive Cairo, Cairo Governorate
My process started with an online assessment that felt fairly standard—pattern-style questions and a structured format. Recruitment had me record my answers for a long stretch of questions, and it was unforgiving because I only had a single attempt to record. That alone added pressure, since there wasn’t a chance to redo anything if my delivery went off.
After that, the process included a filmed video interview component where I had to speak to the camera for a few minutes and keep moving without mistakes. Each question had a short gap between prompts, and there was no possibility to re-record if I messed up. The whole thing felt like it was measuring composure as much as thinking.

Online Assessments & Video Interviews
Initial stages often included online assessments that tested logical reasoning and technical skills, sometimes requiring candidates to record video responses under time constraints. This format added pressure and left candidates feeling that their performance was final and unchangeable.
