After applying, I got an invite to an on-demand HireVue that I had to complete quickly—within a few days of getting the link. I had a handful of short questions, each with a small amount of retake flexibility, and the vibe was mostly behavioural. I remember it feeling pretty straightforward, like they were checking for fit and communication more than “gotchas.” A few weeks later, I moved into live interviews over Teams: two separate 1:1 conversations scheduled about a week apart.
The first was with an engineer and it was the most technical part of the loop. Even then, it stayed anchored to my own resume and what I’d claimed—things like walking through “why this works the way it does” based on my background. The second was with a manager who also had a technical history, but the questioning leaned more behavioural. What stood out was how much they kept the focus on whether I was genuinely excited about the work, could execute, and would be easy to collaborate with.

Average Positive India
My interview process started with an on-demand video step where the structure felt pretty friendly. I did the HireVue round with a couple of attempts allowed per question, then I moved into a live technical conversation with HR followed by another HR session. I remember the HR team making it feel comfortable, and the technical part was a mix of topics—there was a DSA component plus questions spanning OS and system design.
After that, the process moved to a hiring-manager interview over Microsoft Teams. That session was laid out around STAR-style stories, and it connected my technical and behavioural background back to what the role actually needed. It didn’t feel adversarial; it felt like they were trying to understand the full picture of how I worked and how I’d fit.
