I started with a recruiter touchpoint, then moved pretty quickly into interviews on Teams. The process felt efficient and the questions were mostly straightforward, centered on my background and how I’d worked with clients and teams. I remember the early round feeling like a normal conversation—chatty, but still structured enough that it was obvious they were checking fit.
After that, I had a hiring-manager interview and then a set of additional conversations with people in the org. Those rounds stayed conversational rather than adversarial, and I ended up speaking to multiple individuals across different roles. Depending on the round, questions mixed behavioral prompts with lighter case-style discussion, but nothing felt like a trap. One part that stood out was how much time the interviewers seemed to spend letting me ask questions back and talk through reasoning rather than just reciting answers.

Average Negative Santa Monica, CA
I had an initial HR conversation and then a subsequent interview with the hiring manager. The process was pretty normal up to that point, but after the final interview I never heard back. I reached out multiple times to check whether I was moving forward and never got a response back.
What made it stick in my mind was that the job posting still appeared to be live. I left feeling like I had done what I was supposed to do, and the silence afterward was the hardest part—no closure, just unanswered messages and a lingering uncertainty.
