PriceLabs Interview Guide
Everything we know about interviewing at PriceLabs: the process stage by stage, what each round tests, and compensation by level.
Interviewing at PriceLabs
What the process looks like, and what PriceLabs is really testing for.
You will go through an interview loop that mixes screening, behavioral questions, and multiple technical and stakeholder fit steps. Across the roles in the data, the process repeatedly tests both communication and role-relevant technical skills, not just one “coding only” track.
The technical core is consistent in the topics data: SQL and algorithm explanations (pseudocode, data structures, and DSA) are at the top of the topic distribution. The next tier includes Python, presales or sales engineering style work, database querying (SELECT and DML concepts), and broader coding skills, then a strong domain focus on time series forecasting, forecasting model development, and price prediction.
Based on candidate reports, loops include several final-stage discussions focused on culture or overall alignment, plus a final evaluation involving stakeholders. The reported difficulty is mostly medium (52.1%), with some hard (16.4%) and very hard (4.1%), and the offer rate reported in the candidate reports is 0.0%, so you should treat this as a tough, qualification-heavy process and not assume offers are common.
SQL plus forecasting and price prediction appear together at the highest prominence levels, so your best preparation is to connect data work to pricing and revenue-oriented solution consulting, not just practice isolated queries or isolated ML concepts.
The PriceLabs interview process
5 stages, based on 83 candidate reports.
Application review
Not specifiedYou are initially reviewed for fit and qualifications during the application review step. Prepare to align your background with the role needs described for the consulting-oriented tracks in the data.

Behavioral interview
Not specifiedYou discuss interpersonal skills and how you handle work situations, with emphasis on cultural alignment. Treat your stories as structured and tied to collaboration and communication, since those themes recur.
Technical assessment
Not specifiedYou complete a technical assessment to evaluate technical capabilities. The topics data indicates strong emphasis on SQL, pseudocode and algorithm explanation, Python, database querying, and forecasting and price prediction concepts, depending on the role.
Final assessments and stakeholder discussions
Not specifiedYou go through one or more final rounds that include interactions with stakeholders and discussions focused on overall fit and cultural alignment. Expect rounds described as final evaluation, culture fit discussions, or in depth discussions with team members and leadership.
