I only had two interviews, and the format was pretty straightforward. First there was an HR conversation for about 30 minutes, and then I moved into a technical interview.
In the technical interview, the questions were mostly high-level and leaned into system design. The exercise I had to implement was an LRU cache, so I was expected to translate design reasoning into working logic. Compared to longer multi-round processes, it felt compact—less time for back-and-forth, but also less room to compensate if I struggled in a particular area.

Average Positive Peru
My process started with HR, and from the beginning it felt supportive and professional rather than rushed. The recruiter/HR conversations focused on my background and motivation, but they also asked about personal values and how I approached learning and problem-solving. I left those calls feeling like they were genuinely trying to understand who I was, not just test buzzwords.
After that, the technical side felt challenging in a good way. The engineers I spoke with were friendly and made the environment feel collaborative and “safe,” so I could talk through my reasoning instead of getting stonewalled. The interviews still pressed on substance—me bringing my own thought process to technical questions—and the communication stayed clear across stages.
