I started with a referral and then went straight into an HR screening. That first round was very front-end flavored—JavaScript questions that leaned on things like polyfills, schema validation, React hooks, plus some CSS topics.
After that, a recruiter called and set up a technical interview flow with three rounds. The first technical part had just two questions, and they both had a real algorithmic feel: one was a harder LeetCode-style problem around deleting at most one character to make a string a palindrome, and the other was a Priority Queue related algorithm question, asked in JavaScript since the role was frontend-oriented. The overall difficulty felt average, and I didn’t end up getting to an offer from there.

Average Negative Bengaluru
My process ended up being four rounds and felt structured from the start. The first round was DSA, with two medium LeetCode-style questions (the kinds you see in Striver-style problem sets). The second round was a low-level design task where I had to design an in-memory database and reason about multiple threads.
Then the hiring manager round combined my last project discussion with a high-level design view, plus some situational questions. The last step was a cultural fit round with straightforward questions, and it ended with a clear rejection. What stood out to me was how quickly the process became about depth—especially once the in-memory DB and threading topic came up—and how the journey still felt “normal” even though the verdict was a no.
