I went through what ended up being a long, multi-round process—over two months—with four distinct rounds. The interviews themselves were generally thoughtful and welcoming, and I had good conversations about the role and team dynamics, with people who came across as knowledgeable. Each step felt like it was really trying to evaluate how I approached design, not just the final outcomes.
What wore on me wasn’t the content—it was the cadence. HR updates became sporadic, with week-long gaps between communications, and at one point the virtual schedule got derailed by interviewer cancellations that happened very close to the start time. After the last interview, the final feedback took about two weeks to arrive, so the ending felt unusually slow.

Difficult Negative United Kingdom
My experience started with a lot of confusion. In the earliest interactions, it felt like the interview team didn’t even have clarity on what the process would look like, and I was asked to send availability details without much structure around what would happen after that. The whole setup gave me an “ad hoc” vibe rather than a coordinated hiring flow.
When I finally got into the interviews, the contrast was uncomfortable. There was an overall feeling of low engagement from some interviewers—one seemed rushed and not very invested, and by the end it was hard to shake the sense that my answers weren’t landing the way they should have. In another round, an interviewer kept glancing at the clock while I was speaking, and it made me feel like I was interrupting their schedule instead of being evaluated.
