I went through a recruiter-focused conversation where we walked through my background in detail, and the interviewer felt genuinely friendly. After that, I was pulled into a vibecoding session that felt more like a practical collaboration than a purely theoretical test.
The part that stood out was the task: I was given a requirement document and asked to develop against it with a coding agent. I had about 30 minutes to work through it, which made the whole thing feel fast-paced and slightly stressful because there wasn’t a lot of time to iterate. Overall it felt like a lighter, more approachable process than the classic “grind leetcode” setup, but still evaluated how I could translate requirements into working code. I didn’t end up getting an offer.

Easy Negative Singapore
My process started with a recruiter conversation that felt quick and easy. We went over general items about my profile, and I didn’t feel like it was an ordeal—just a straightforward early screen. After that, though, I noticed a pattern that made me uneasy: people I knew had similar experiences where the recruiter didn’t reliably follow up after the interview.
I ended up with the same kind of disconnect in my own timeline. The recruiter stage itself didn’t feel difficult, and the steps were described clearly at the beginning, but I was ultimately left waiting without the kind of timely follow-through that would have made the process feel smooth. It was straightforward overall, yet the lack of replies after the interview was what lingered most in my mind.
