After a recruiter touchpoint, I got pulled into two technical rounds that felt fairly focused on fundamentals. The first round started with general conversation around OOP concepts and REST API, then moved into a coding problem where I had to work through the solution on the spot. It had a practical, hands-on feel—less about obscure trivia and more about whether I could reason clearly and code without getting stuck.
The second round shifted toward implementation and structure. I was asked to do an LLD-style round, and it leaned into designing around APIs. After going through the thinking and tradeoffs, the overall impression I had was that the bar was “average” but still deliberate: they wanted clean problem solving first, and then a solid, API-aware design mindset.

Average Positive Bengaluru
My process started with an aptitude-style screen, then quickly turned into a technical assessment. I ended up doing a dedicated technical test that mixed SQL with programming questions, and I remember the platform letting me choose between Python or R. The whole flow felt structured and efficient, and once I cleared the test, the interviews moved forward with a few more steps rather than dragging on.
The technical interview rounds were where it got more real. I was asked about SQL concepts and also had to discuss how my experience connected to the role. Some questions tied directly back to what I’d written on my resume, and the coding/problem-solving portion carried a “show your work” expectation rather than purely theoretical answers. One of the standout parts was how quickly I was expected to pivot from basics into deeper, more technical discussion.
