I had a really structured, communicative process that felt respectful and organized from start to finish. After a recruiter call, I moved into a series of conversations that were meant to cover both how I thought through problems and how well I could speak to the technical side of the role. The interviewers were professional and engaged, and I remember feeling like they were trying to understand my real experience rather than rushing me toward a scripted conversation.
As the process went on, it became more hands-on. I ended up doing a SQL coding challenge and then a sales presentation with an Account Executive that mixed behavioral discussion with time to ask questions about the product. Later, I had a half-day style virtual onsite with multiple conversations, including a technical presentation. Overall, the timeline felt manageable and clear, and I genuinely felt supported by the recruiter who kept everything moving.

My process started out fast and then kind of fell off a cliff. I did multiple stages—at first it felt like momentum was building and the conversations were moving me along—but after a point the communication stopped for weeks. I kept expecting the next step and eventually I was only met with automated messaging.
When I did reach the later stages, I had already invested a lot of time. I went through recruiter and hiring-manager conversations, including a mock call and sample email work, and I was expecting follow-up after asking for concrete feedback on what I could have done differently. Instead, the follow-through never came, and when a rejection finally arrived, it was done through an automated email with no real explanation. Even after being told more steps were coming, I didn’t get any clarity—just silence.
