I went through a process that felt fast, structured, and surprisingly respectful of my time. After an initial recruiter conversation, the next step landed about a week later and I moved through technical rounds in a fairly tight sequence. The interviews were clearly designed to test how I thought and how I solved problems, not just whether I could recite theoretical concepts, and the tone stayed professional and relaxed.
My path included a technical screen / coding-focused step with hands-on questions, followed by a system design conversation that used a classic whiteboard style prompt. I also had time with a leadership-level interviewer for a cultural fit discussion. Overall the difficulty felt genuinely challenging—enough that I had to concentrate hard—but it never felt unfair, and I didn’t leave any stage thinking I was being treated like a number.

Difficult Neutral Lisbon, Lisbon District
My interviews were tightly technical, but I felt a mismatch in the focus early on. The process started with a human resources conversation that went smoothly and a follow-up online test where I did well. After that, the technical interviews became more intense and very deep on specific software system knowledge.
One technical round leaned heavily into implementation details, to the point where it felt like the evaluation criteria didn’t match what the role was actually advertising. Even in the parts that were difficult in a normal way, it became clear they were measuring something narrower than what I expected. Another segment of the process included multiple consecutive rounds—an HR triage, then coding-focused and technical challenges, and finally a discussion with senior management—so I kept getting pulled into higher-stakes questions.
