Meta is piloting a more structured candidate experience for L6 Product Manager hiring across Facebook, Instagram, and Reels. You are the PM responsible for planning a 4- to 8-week interview process for a high-priority candidate while coordinating multiple interviewers, cross-functional partners, and hiring decisions without slowing down active product work.
The process spans recruiter screening, hiring manager interview, cross-functional interviews, product execution rounds, and final debrief. The team supporting the loop includes 1 recruiter, 1 recruiting coordinator, 6 interviewers across Product, Engineering, Design, and Data Science, and 1 hiring manager. The role is urgent because the org has an open headcount tied to H2 planning, and the VP wants a signed offer decision within 8 weeks.
The hiring manager wants speed and a high-quality signal. Recruiting wants a predictable process with low candidate drop-off. Interviewers are already committed to launch work for Instagram Reels and have limited availability. The candidate is interviewing with another company and can only do interviews on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
You have no additional recruiting support, a maximum of 12 total interviewer hours available per week, and a target process length of 6 weeks with an absolute maximum of 8 weeks. At least 5 interviews must be completed, and all written feedback must be submitted within 24 hours of each interview. One interviewer will be on PTO during Weeks 3-4, and the hiring manager is traveling internationally in Week 2.
